What engine can run hydrogen fuel cell ?

Can a normal car engine run with a hydrogen fuel cell ?
If can't then what kind of engine can run with it ?

Okay, those two both seem to have missed the point of your question. Hydrogen fuel cells don't generate energy in the same manner as a combustion driven engine.

The engine that is in a conventional car is an internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine is driven by a rapid expansion of gas caused by the generation of gaseous molecules and heating of the gas confined in the piston.

Fuel cells generate electricity and small amounts of heat. The engine in a conventional car cannot be powered by electricity. The electricity generated is used to power an electric motor, which drives the car.

You can run a car engine on hydrogen, it is not set up for it cause hydrogen burns hotter then gasoline. So it can ruin valves and exhaust ports. So the engine will not run long. Now a Turbine engine can run on anything as long as it burns. In 1967 Plymouth made a car that had the turbine engine in them. they were remarkable and standard oil bought the patent and threw it away. It is used for our military tanks now that is all the engine is used for mostly. Oil swindlers won again.

Can vehicles that run on gas be converted to run on the hydrogen fuel cell?

I have a paper to do on that question and just need some help. If it can how much would it cost? How would the economy beneifit? What procedures would have to be taken to complete this task? How long would it take to convert the vehicle to run on the fuel cell?

When are those hydrogen fuel cell cars going to be mainstream?

Come on, folks. The technology has been there since the 60′s. My dad had a H2 generator onboard his Naval ship during ‘Nam. Gas is so darn expensive, and using farmland for the sugar needed for biofuel is causing people all over the world to starve. When the heck are H2 cars going to be widely available and mainstream? All we need are companies to make them, and other companies to start producing the hydrogen.

What kind of engineer would work on the hydrogen fuel cell?

I need to know what kind of engineer would help to make the hydrogen fuel cell more economical

If there was a mass production of hydrogen fuel cell engines would the water emitions effect the environment?

The only emitions produced by hydrogen fuel cell engines is h2o. What would a sudden increase of moisture in the atmosphere do to the environment? Would drought be a thing of the past?

where can i find an online site that will show me the blueprints of a hydrogen fuel cell for home use?

i am trying to make my own fuel cell to convert my gasoline engine to hydrogen

How much will it cost to convert your gasoline car into a hydrogen fuel cell car?

Hey, I need an exact estimate on how much it would cost to convert your gasoline car into a hydrogen car. I would like to know how much would it cost if you do it yourself and if you took it to a car center. Thank You

I'm trying to find a hydrogen fuel cell chip for an electronics project, where is a good one at?

I recalled seeing a hydrogen fuel cell that was implemented on a chip that you could use for low power applications in an electronics project, but I am having trouble finding it. Where could I find a low-power chip that generates electricity from water to get the hydrogen for sale at?

Where can I find a guide to build my own hydrogen fuel cell?

I’m looking for guide, preferable PDF or DOC that I can use to build my own hydrogen fuel cell. Some of my neighboring engineers have done so by using their knowlege, but I would like some sort of text guide. Are there any on the web? Links would be great, thanks

What are some Hydrogen Fuel Cell Challenges?

Hydrogen isn’t actually an energy source — it’s an energy carrier [source: CECA]. Hydrogen carries the energy that’s created when it’s produced. It’s similar to electricity: We can’t burn electricity (which is an energy carrier), but electricity can be produced by burning energy sources like natural gas or petroleum. Then electricity transports this energy to other places, like the outlets in your home.
